Grand Launching ABI (Asosiasi Bakery Indonesia) dilaksanakan pada 11 Desember 2007, Selasa di DIAN BALLROOM , Hotel Ciputra - Jakarta Barat. Acara yang dimulai pada pukul 9 pagi WIB ini diisi dengan berbagai dialog dengan pakar-pakar ahli di bidang industry bakery seperti Ir.Thomas Darmawan 9Ketua Umum GAPMMI), Bapak Alwin Arifin (PT.Sriboga Ratu Raya), dan Bapak Jahja Angkawidjaja (Maxim bakery). Selanjutnya presentasi mengenai IBEX 2008 (indonesia Bakery Exhibition) yang akan diadakan di Jakata Hilton Convention Centre pada pertengahan tahun 2008. Berbagai Sponsor hadir memenuhi acara ini diantaranya PURATOS, PT. Jaya Fermex, Mercolade, Saf Indonusa dan PT.BOGASARI. Acara ini semakin semarak dengan adanya berbagai macam DoorPrizes yang diberikan dari pihak ABI dan sponsor.

Berbagai pemain Bakery dari segala penjuru Indonesia hadir di acara pengukuhan ABI ini diantaranya dari Surabaya, Bandung, Papua dan tentunya dari Jakarta. First outlet was in the 1st floor of Mall Ambassador, Kuningan - South Jakarta.Its concept is to combine the modern bakery atmosphere with its "see-thru" kitchen style and the busy life style of the Big City life, like Jakarta. Bread King promised to only offer the best quality of products and selectively picked the finest ingredients.As the market grew, another outlet in the under groud floor of Mall Ambassador was opened not so long after the main outlet opened. Not so long after that, there is another one opened in under ground floor of ITC Kuningan.
